The museum is closed on public holidays.
It is possible to book guided tours of the Old Observatory outside official opening hours, but the price of tickets doubles.

Museum Friday's ticket 1€
Museum Friday takes place on the last Friday of every month. Museum and student lock-up could be visited with Museum Friday's ticket.
The combined ticket includes entrance into the Old Observatory, the University of Tartu Art Museum and the University of Tartu Museum
